Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Bossbee Solutions Pvt Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles information in connection with the Skies Science website (the “Service”). We have designed the Service to collect as little personal data as possible.

1. Your birth details stay in your browser by default

The date, time and place of birth you enter are used only to compute your chart in your own browser. By default they are never transmitted to or stored on our servers — simply analysing or searching a chart stores nothing. Your recommendation link encodes these details so it is shareable and reproducible, but the computation always happens on your device.

The one exception is if you are signed in and deliberately choose to save a chart to your account. In that case those birth details are sent to us and stored encrypted (AES-256), accessible only from your account. You can delete a saved chart at any time from your account.

2. Information we do receive

• When you contact us — if you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message.
• When you place an order — to fulfil orders we collect your name, delivery address, email and phone number. Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider [payment provider]; we do not see or store your full card details.
• Your cart is stored locally in your browser (localStorage), not on our servers.

3. Third-party services

To generate product imagery we may send only garment colour names to a third-party AI image service. We never send your birth details, name, contact information or any other personal data to that service.

4. Cookies and analytics

We use only the cookies/local storage essential to operate the Service (such as remembering your cart). We do not use third-party advertising trackers. If we introduce analytics in future, we will update this policy.

5. How we use information

We use the limited information above to respond to your enquiries, process and deliver orders, and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data.

6. Data retention

We retain order and contact records for as long as needed to fulfil the purpose collected and to comply with legal, tax and accounting requirements, then delete or anonymise them.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, email hello@skies.science.

8. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time; the “last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
